Please Review Our Policies

  • Identification Policy: We require a Drivers License or State Photo ID for all first time clients to ensure the safety of our staff.

  • No Show Policy: A first time “no-call/no-show" will result in a grace appointment, and nothing will be charged. All other subsequent "no-call, no-show" events will incur the full fee for the session, that must be paid before any other sessions may be booked.

  • Late Arrival Policy: In the event of a late arrival the session may be shortened in order to accommodate those appointments that follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full session amount.

  • Substance-Free Bodywork Policy: Massage and other supportive therapies can increase circulating levels of alcohol and substances in the system. It is suggested that clients refrain from heavy consumption of alcohol and recreational drugs within 24 hours of their bodywork. This will ensure a safer, more pleasant experience for you as well as for your practitioner. Your therapist reserves the right to decline your appointment if you smell of alcohol or appear impaired.

  • Payment Policy: We accept cash and credit/debit cards. In the event that the session is terminated due to suggestive language and/or inappropriate behavior on the client's part, it is expected that the session is paid in full regardless of how much time was left at the time of termination.

  • Cancellation Policy: There is a minimum 24 hour advance notice that is requested when cancelling an appointment to allow the opportunity for someone else to schedule. If cancelled within 24 hours, your session will be charged. Habitually cancelling (3 times or more) within 24 hours may revoke your ability to schedule without prepayment of the session in full. If you or your child/dependent become ill within 24 hours of your session and may be contagious, please contact us to reschedule. There will be no charges for cancellations due to illness.

  • First Time Client Policy: If this is your first time visiting Bridge Massage and Wellness Clinic, please fill out online or print off and fill out the necessary client forms for your session. Otherwise, if you prefer to fill them out in person, please arrive 15 minutes before your session to allow time to fill them out.

  • Servicing Children Policy: We do work on children between the ages of 2 to 17. We use gentle manipulation of soft tissue on our smaller clients and limit sessions to our 30 minute limit for those between the ages of 2-15 unless there is a specific need for a longer appointment. It is required that a parent or guardian remain on site and in the room for children between the ages of 2-15. For children between the ages of 16-17, a parent or guardian must remain on site, but are not required to remain in the room.

  • Physician's Policy: We may require clients with certain health conditions to provide a written approval letter from their physician to obtain bodywork. These include, but are not limited to: serious cardiac or circulatory condition, high risk pregnancy, kidney disease, recent traumatic brain injuries, certain skin conditions, and metastasizing cancers. If the client is on medication for pain relief or inflammation, please contact us to discuss the best timing of your appointment.
